Priyanka Chopra is all set to play the role of Alex, who is an FBI agent. She has been paired opposite renowned Hollywood television actor, Jake McLaughlin. After her stint as a singer with singles like ‘In My City' and Exotic, this will be Priyanka's next big venture in Hollywood. The Quantico series will be shot in parts of U.S and will be telecast on ABC family.
Considering the accomplished actor that she is today, always a hit at the box office, it's hard to compare it to her early beginnings in 2003 when her first movie didn't quite ring the cash register. In fact, Priyanka Chopra's debut film, Andaaz, alongside actress Lara Dutta and Akshay Kumar sunk at the box office however, Priyanka managed to stay afloat.
It's been a long road since she performed her first critically acclaimed role, a negative act in the movie Aitraaz. While her role in Mujhse Dosti Karoge the same year opposite Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar got her the big mass following that she has today, it was the movie, Fashion, which was the making of her as an actress.
Today she has even serious performance oriented roles like Mary Kom, 5 time boxing champion to her credit, which has won her many laurels including a national award.
One can clearly see she has come a long way. With each movie, she proved her acting skills and challenged herself to get better and better out of herself. Her attempt at being an international singer did not quite turn out well, but it did help her bag a meaty role in the upcoming television series titled Quantico.
